InstantCMS is software designed to create, organize, edit, and manage a website. In simple terms, it's a "website engine" where any page is generated dynamically and everything is managed through a convenient admin panel.
System requirements
For InstantCMS to work correctly, your server must have the following software:
Apache web server with mod_rewrite module installed (or without it, if Apache >= 2.2.16);
Or Nginx web server with rules from CMS .htaccess files ported to it;
PHP interpreter version 7.2 or higher. PHP 8.X is supported;
PHP modules: gd, iconv, mbstring, simple, json, filter;
MySQL 5+, MariaDB DBMS;
Installation instructions
Unzip the downloaded archive and upload its contents to the server, to the root directory of your website. Go to the address

InstantCMS is free software; use it at your own risk. Since InstantCMS is licensed free of charge, no warranties are provided, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Notifications about available updates are published in the News section. Support is provided by the community on the official forum. Custom add-ons and modifications are published in the Blogs section and in the official add-on catalog.
Development is conducted on GitHub. You can suggest an idea or report a bug by opening a ticket. You can submit a completed solution and/or bug fix by sending a pull request. InstantCMS is distributed under the GNU/GPL v2 license. This means the system is completely free and open-source. You are free to modify this code and distribute it in any way. Any derivative works you create based on InstantCMS must be distributed under the same license, and the code must be open and publicly available.
