YouTube has removed two major “AI slop” channels, CuentosFacianantes and Imperio de Jesus, wiping out millions of subscribers and billions of views.

CuentosFacianantes had over 5.9 million subscribers and 1.2 billion views, creating low-quality Dragon Ball-themed videos. Imperio de Jesus had 5.8 million subscribers, focusing on interactive faith-based quizzes.

The removals follow YouTube CEO Neal Mohan’s push to reduce low-quality AI content, targeting spam, clickbait, and deceptive practices. In total, 16 AI slop channels have been deleted or stripped of content.
